While actively preparing for hosting the 3rd Asian Beach Games, the Haiyang city is taking the initiative in tapping its existing resources, exploring and cultivating local cultural and landscape sceneries to boost its tourism sector.

The live shows within the scenic area of Landmine Warfare, have a strong appeal to tourists, offering them a unique cultural experience with authentic scenes and thrilling fights. 

Such scenic areas as Yunding Bamboo Forest and Zhaohu Mountain are also tourists' favorites. The folklore tours developed in Haiyang enable tourists to enjoy the beauty of natural landscape while visiting “red scenic spots” related to Chinese revolutions. Moreover, Haiyang has invested in a tourist route linking the Zhaohu Mountain, Golden Coast hotel cluster, Sand Sculpture Park and the 10,000-meter-long beach.

The future tourism pattern in Haiyang will feature a large east-west coastal route comprised of the future Nuclear Power Plant tour, beach tour and the Dingzi Bay New Coastal Town which is going to be developed, and a south-north landscape and “red spots” route. The two routes will take a T shape to welcome visitors from every corner of the world.
